Biography:

Grant aka 12 Shades grew up in the UK listening to his parents Motown music in the 70s.Then at
age 13 he started going to 60/70s soul revival nights, which exposed
him to the rare and classic sounds of RnB soul music from America. At
15 he attended his first “northern soul” allnighter, digging deep for
rare unknown soul music on 45s from the early 60s to the early 70s. He
was also listening to jazz, funk, Hip Hop, disco and rare groove . He
was also influenced by all that he was listening to. Grant couldn’t play an
instrument but had a desire to make music so when samplers and drum machines came about
he had to have them.Grant loves being creative and this technology enabled
him to produce all sorts of tracks in all sorts of genres. Grant loves to dance, club and hear new
tunes from all categories.

GRANT SULLIVAN HAS PRODUCED SINGLES, ALBUMS AND COMPILATIONS FOR VARIOUS LABELS SINCE 1992 INC:
