I have had a lot of great people that have come into my life and helped me along the way. I had a teacher in eighth grade named Ms. Mendelsberg. She was one of the first adults to trust and believed in me when I was a kid in Newark. Another important adult from Newark was Tony Wheeler (RIP). He gave me my first opportunity to learn how night life worked in the mid-90s and would listen to all my wild and crazy ideas. Also Ruty Ambalo for helping get my foot in the door and Will (Former owner of Punch) for giving me my first DJ gig. Last but not least my parents.
5. What message or advice you would like to give to music consumers/fans?
Try to always be fair and listen and be present.
6. Would you say that you lead a well balanced life if so how do you stay centered? If not what changes would you make to achieve your desired result? Examples; Read more, exercise, better sleeping habits, more time with loved ones etc…
I try to stay present and I try to take it one day at a time. I read a lot on the train to help unwind after work. I have been training in Brazilian Jujitsu for about nine years.

I feel whatever way the music gets out to the listener is the priority. With that being said I do miss having local record stores where a person could go into it and feel like their part of a community. Have an opportunity to explore new music and connect with others about ideas and having another space to feel inspired.
