I wouldn’t really call it a village but its more like a suburb then a village but my early young years were mostly in a young village called “Magana”, that’s where I developed most of my love for music. At the moment I relocated to Pretoria, South Africa to expend my career in the music world.

Felo Le Tee:  Short term? I would say having as much connection with other musicians as much as possible and long term goals that I am really working on is being an icon in the House Music industry, not just any icon thou, a well statured icon that constantly travels the world to play almost everywhere in the world.

Jaymz Nylon:  What message or advice you would like to give to music consumers/fans?

Felo Le Tee:  Support your people! They make a major difference in the music economy and thank you to those that keep shouting our names when we deliver our work. My personal wish is to deliver timeless music to them.

Jaymz Nylon:  Would you say that you lead a well balanced life if so how do you stay centered? If not what changes would you make to achieve your desired result? Examples; Read more, exercise, better sleeping habits, more time with loved ones etc…

It’s pretty hard to choose because in today’s generation, we prefer to give out mass production in order to be recognized rather then deliver good scares quality music and proper quality format. I would go for the format in which music is shared, personally.

Nylon Trax “Conversations”, putting a face on House Music…
Come get to know Izzy La Vague the amazing DJ/producer and Nylon Trax Family member!

Jaymz Nylon:  Would you please give the reader a little family background i.e.; Place of Birth, Current City you are based in etc…
Izzy La Vague: I was born in 1987 in a very small and beautiful town of Kwa Zulu Natal (Matatiele),I now live in Midrand (Gauteng Province)
 South Africa.

JN: Passions and/or interest aside from music?
ILV: I don’t know whether to combine all of them but I’m more focusing on running my own music digital shop and also looking to be a successful business man.

JN: Who has inspired you and why? It could be Artists, Bands, Activists, Politicians, Family Members, Teachers etc…
ILV: Coming to that…Khaya Magumela has inspired me big time,He is so young and intelligent man when it comes to business. I respect him, period.

JN: What message or advice you would like to give to music consumers/fans?
ILV: I would tell them to buy what you like. Even if you come across free copies buy something. If artists don’t get paid they stop creating. They feel unappreciated…like their work means nothing. At todays prices buying a copy or three can mean a world of difference between an artist feeling like their work is appreciated and them disappearing and taking their talent with them. In a world where anyone can put out music irrespective of talent this is important
.

JN: Would you say that you lead a well balanced life if so how do you stay centered? If not what changes would you make to achieve your desired result? Examples; Read more, exercise, better sleeping habits, more time with loved ones etc…
ILV: Yes,I do…Good sleeping is the most important instrumental I always make sure I do so that I can be productive in every work I engage daily.

JN: Name 3 or more of your favorite self-produced tracks. Artist Name “Track Name” Label.
ILV: 1. Izzy La Vague – My Mother (Vialocalrecords) .2. Izzy La Vague – Open Your Mind (Original) Nylon Trax 3. Izzy La Vague – Profound Feel (unreleased)

JN: Name 3 or more of your favorite tracks produced by other. Artist Name “Track Name” Label.
ILV: 1. Henrik Schwarz – Walk Music 2. Sabb – One Of Us feat. Forrest (Dennis Ferrer Remix) 3. David Anthony Feat Beverlei Brown – I Don’t Know (Manoo Remix)

JN: Where would you like to live and why, City, Beach or Rural(Farm Area)?
ILV: Miami…It has the vibe I love most.

JN: What is more important, the sharing of music or the format in which music is shared?
ILV: Well I think it is twofold…if you are playing out consistently and on quality systems then I say the format. If not then I say the sharing. I know artists take a hit with this happening but people do still buy music. With the saturation of the market in the right hands the best stuff gets heard and in many cases you rely on people with tastes similar to your own to hip you to things they think are banging.
