HipstamaticPhoto-479752142.512063
Nylon Trax has started “Conversations” a question and answer interview featuring Nylon Trax artists and collaborators.
“Conversions” proposes the same 10 questions to each artist but the focal point is not on the questions but what lies in their in-depth and inspiring answers.
Nylon Trax “Conversations”, putting a face on House Music…
Come get to know Izzy La Vague the amazing DJ/producer and Nylon Trax Family member!

Jaymz Nylon:  Would you please give the reader a little family background i.e.; Place of Birth, Current City you are based in etc…
Izzy La Vague: I was born in 1987 in a very small and beautiful town of Kwa Zulu Natal (Matatiele),I now live in Midrand (Gauteng Province)
 South Africa.

JN: What are your short and long term goals?
ILV: Well,my focus is to build and ignite a very unique music that people will relate and enjoy all the time.Solid projection for future.

JN: Passions and/or interest aside from music?
ILV: I don’t know whether to combine all of them but I’m more focusing on running my own music digital shop and also looking to be a successful business man.

JN: Who has inspired you and why? It could be Artists, Bands, Activists, Politicians, Family Members, Teachers etc…
ILV: Coming to that…Khaya Magumela has inspired me big time,He is so young and intelligent man when it comes to business. I respect him, period.

Our information websites have been built on Word Press and are ideal for displaying soft cialis mastercard http://www.slovak-republic.org/history/world-war-1/ business content, newsletters, menus, prices, offer membership, industry specific functionality and more. JN: What message or advice you would like to give to music consumers/fans?
ILV: I would tell them to buy what you like. Even if you come across free copies buy something. If artists don’t get paid they stop creating. They feel unappreciated…like their work means nothing. At todays prices buying a copy or three can mean a world of difference between an artist feeling like their work is appreciated and them disappearing and taking their talent with them. In a world where anyone can put out music irrespective of talent this is important
.

JN: Would you say that you lead a well balanced life if so how do you stay centered? If not what changes would you make to achieve your desired result? Examples; Read more, exercise, better sleeping habits, more time with loved ones etc…
ILV: Yes,I do…Good sleeping is the most important instrumental I always make sure I do so that I can be productive in every work I engage daily.

JN: Name 3 or more of your favorite self-produced tracks. Artist Name “Track Name” Label.
ILV: 1. Izzy La Vague – My Mother (Vialocalrecords) .2. Izzy La Vague – Open Your Mind (Original) Nylon Trax 3. Izzy La Vague – Profound Feel (unreleased)

JN: Name 3 or more of your favorite tracks produced by other. Artist Name “Track Name” Label.
ILV: 1. Henrik Schwarz – Walk Music 2. Sabb – One Of Us feat. Forrest (Dennis Ferrer Remix) 3. David Anthony Feat Beverlei Brown – I Don’t Know (Manoo Remix)

JN: Where would you like to live and why, City, Beach or Rural(Farm Area)?
ILV: Miami…It has the vibe I love most.

JN: What is more important, the sharing of music or the format in which music is shared?
ILV: Well I think it is twofold…if you are playing out consistently and on quality systems then I say the format. If not then I say the sharing. I know artists take a hit with this happening but people do still buy music. With the saturation of the market in the right hands the best stuff gets heard and in many cases you rely on people with tastes similar to your own to hip you to things they think are banging.

JN: What are your short and long term goals?
BB: I’d have to say in the way of short term goals , currently myself and my new group effort ( Electric Kollextive Groove) is to gain as much awareness as possible for our debut releases.. As far as long term I’d like to have a major distribution deal in place , a robust promotional budget and all facets in house ie; ( film, mixing mastering , graphic design , staging , sound , and lighting..) 60 acres , solar panels, 1000 free range chickens, 2 fresh water lakes stocked,10acre all organic farm.. JN: Passions and/or interest aside from music?
BB: I’m an artist across the board. I initially attended college for graphic design and fine arts.. I have worked professionally as a chef .. I have a passion for food preparation and am very interested in organic farming and film production

JN: Who has inspired you and why? It could be Artists, Bands, Activists, Politicians, Family Members, Teachers etc…
BB: I would have to say I was most influence by the likes of James Brown , that is in part because he represented my home town world wide influencing all popular music to this day and because this proves it doesn’t matter where you’re from but what what’s in you and what you have to give.

JN: What message or advice you would like to give to music consumers/fans?
BB: I would have say first respect the craft and the sacrifices those who create it have made in order to do so . There are a lot of artist who have shared their talents with the world sacrificing their personal lives and the personal lives of their families only to meet their demise depleted and unfulfilled ..second realize that everything depends in everything , so the listeners’ support is Imperative.

Blames Brown “Profunda Encontros Meditação Música” Now Available on Traxsource

Blames Brown’s Nylon Trax debut EP “Profunda Encontros Meditação Música” is directly inspired by his frequent travels to Brazil a still developing country that was also the destination to a larger number of enslaved Africans. While amongst the these resilient peoples Blames noticed that no matter how dire the situation Afro Brazilians have a certain love for life, expression, culture and a support for their country even in the face of wealth disparity and the lack of resources.

This EP features “Até o Poço Seca” which includes a sidereal Jaymz Nylon Afrotech Remix and the Bossa Nova inspired “Brasilia”. Blames Brown’s track “Até o poço seca’ translates to mean “press on until the well runs dry” which is often said as Afro Brazilians continue the fight for freedom and equality. Brown is greatly moved, humbled and inspired by the spirit of the Brazilian people whom preserve and make the best of their situation believing that it is very important to have a message and meaning when it comes to artistic expression. Blames Brown says, “This is a small stitch in the great tapestry of Life”…
